The writing system is merged from many different languages. E.g. cow and beef.

Many different rules. E.g. “says” is pronounced “sez”, as the relationship to the third party is more important.

The same word has different spelling and meaning.

E.g. “to”, “two”, “too”.

1.Thousands of English words are already used in the Japanese language. Some have been changed or created called wasei-eigo.
